Terms.
Diane is offered free, as it is, by one person. These terms say plainly what that means.
Diane is made and run by Lukas Bartak, Czech Republic, under Czech law — hello@diane.to.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, with no promise that it will work, keep working, or keep your data. There is no uptime commitment and no support commitment. If comments matter to you, keep your own copy.
We may stop
We may change the service, limit it, or shut it down entirely, at any time. We will give notice by e-mail to the address on your account where we reasonably can, but the service may end without it.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost comments, downtime, or any loss arising from using or not being able to use the service. Some liability cannot be excluded by law — for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for rights consumers hold that cannot be signed away — and nothing here tries to exclude it.
Content
Comments are written by visitors and published by the site they appear on. We hold and serve them on that site's instructions — we do not read them, choose them, monitor them, or vouch for them, and they are not ours to answer for.
If something published through Diane is unlawful, send us the address of the page at hello@diane.to. We will look at it, remove what has to go, and tell the site's owner.
Your side
- Everything on your domain is yours to answer for, including what your visitors write there, and deciding what stays is your call and yours alone.
- Register only domains you are entitled to. A domain is claimed on trust, without proof; if somebody has claimed yours, write to us and we will sort it out.
- Do not use the service to break the law or to harm anyone.
Accounts
A free account covers one site and up to 100 comments held at once. When it is full, new comments are refused until some are deleted — deleting makes room again. We may suspend or remove an account that is being misused, and we may remove a registered site that has never served a single request.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. What we do with data is on the privacy page.
